1984 Fender Fullerton Stratocaster American ’62 Reissue Picture(s) and Description:

50 high resolution photos at the bottom of this listing 1984 Fender U.S.A. Fullerton Era American Vintage '62 Stratocaster Reissue Sunburst Nitrocellulose Lacquer with Original Fender Tweed Hard Case (rare export brown lining) Low Serial #: V013475 I've been selling guitars & high ticket items worldwide since 1999 & a trusted seller. Please check my feedback. Need a little time to pay after the auction? That's okay! Just let me know after you win. My listings have a lot of details and photos for serious buyers. Please take the time to read the whole listing in detail, inspect every photo carefully and ask any questions first before bidding. Thank you. Description: This is a 26 year old, 1984 Fender U.S.A. Fullerton era, American Vintage '62 Stratocaster Reissue. This guitar comes with the original Fender tweed hard case with a super rare brown lining, and tremolo arm. For you collectors out there you know what you're looking at so I won't go into too much detail about it's collectibility. For those of you not in the know, you can read a great article about collecting 1982-84 Fullerton Reissues here by one of the largest and most respected vintage dealers in the world. You can see here how much Fullerton Reissues go for. The prices on these Fender Fullerton era reissues are only going up so it's a solid investment. Get yours while you can while the market is fairly low! The neck date is 7-19-84. (photographed down the page) The POT dates are R1378427 (27th week of 1984). (photographed down the page) The body date can't be read, but you can tell it's all original. Condition: This guitar is 26 years old. There is obvious natural play wear with real "road worn/relic" wear--not synthetic. There are natural dings, bumps, scratches, paint chips, patinaed metal hardware, arm and pick wear, lacquer finish checking and other play wear. There are no structural or play issues. The original white 3-ply pickguard and other plastic parts has aged to a nice parchment color. The original back plate is missing. Please check out all the high resolution photos I've posted down the page to judge the cosmetic condition of both the guitar and hard case for yourself. The body is a rare 2-piece alder that's beautifully matched. The rosewood fretboard has a beautiful deep brown tone with an almost Brazilian like figure. The action is set to Fender specs with no buzzing with normal picking/attack. The guitar is set up well with low action. The neck is straight with no truss rod issues. The frets are in great condition and only show minimal wear. Intonation was set by me. The strap buttons are either Schaller or Fender locking buttons and not the original. The original included 5-way switch is installed (original 3-way switch is missing). The hard case is the original genuine Fender Tweed Reissue case with a very rare brown lining. Many Fender U.S.A. reissues that were exported to Japan all the way to the early 2000s had different color lining hard cases, so that's most likely why it's brown. The case is worn in and shows signs of it's age. The key is missing. Most important, the guitar plays and sounds awesome! Nothing beats the tone and resonance of instruments with wood that has aged this long. This guitar is a player! It's not one you'll want to stash away. TONE! Weight: 3.54KG = 7.8Lbs (weighed on accurate postal scale) I've taken photos of every part of this guitar with every photo available in full resolution for download and detailed inspection. Please take the time to read the whole listing in detail, inspect every photo carefully and ask any questions first before bidding. I've been selling high ticket items and guitars internationally on eBay since April 1999 with zero negative feedback so you can bid with confidence. Please check my feedback. A majority of my feedback is from selling, not buying. Not all the guitars I've sold show up in my eBay history so you can check out some of the guitars I've sold and shipped internationally here. I'm a Powerseller but I give very individual attention to my customers. Great customer service and fast response is my top priority. I care greatly about my customers and the guitars I sell. All the guitars I sell are handpicked by me. I only buy guitars to sell that I would keep for myself. I spend hours for each of my ebay listings and photos to hopefully increase your buying experience. I try to show as much details of the guitars as possible. I don't want anything to be a surprise when you receive your guitar. Hopefully this will be the guitar you love enough to pass down to your kids.
