This BRAND SPANKIN' NEW CUSTOM AVATAR TRADITIONAL cabinet has two new U.S. made Eminence Legend GB 50 watt speakers from the EMINENCE Legend line of U.S. 12 inch guitar speakers. The GB 12's are the Eminence versions of the Celestion Greenback speakers. They have a real rich warm overdrive tone like the original Greenbacks and handle more power with their 50 watt rating each speaker. The cab with two GB's is rated at 100 watts. Take your choice of either a partial oval open back panel cab or a closed back panel cab but most guys doing GB's usually go closed back to get the best bass possible. Closed back is the best for hard core palm muting THUMP under high gain situations. This cab comes with ORANGE tolex and a nice vintage looking classic wheat grill. The open back photo shows different front loaded speakers inside but this auction is for an Eminence Legend rear loaded cabinet. Again, these speakers will work fine in open or closed back cabs but the main difference is that a closed back cab will enable you to get more bass and thump whereas an open back cab has less bass but lets more room filling mids from the backs of the cones exit the back of the cab, reflect off of the walls and gives the impression that the sound is coming from a bigger place. This sleek looking Traditional cab has the classic looking shape which goes with many amps. Some guys tilt them on their short end for the vertical look. With the dual GB speakers, you can choose 4, 8 or 16 ohm cab (just one choice) as we have the GB's in both 8 and 16 ohm. Please see Eminence.com for specs on these Legend 12's. The AVATAR G212H cabs are the subject of many great user reviews on the internet forums such as Harmony-Central.com/Guitar/Data/Avatar. This cab is constructed of high quality 13 PLY voidless Baltic Birch plywood and has rabbet and dado interlocking side joints for extreme strength. The cab has two in/out jacks on the rear input panel for easy daisy chaining with other speaker cabs. It has protective nickel corners, black rubber feet (the rubber feet have been cropped from the photo but are there) and large comfortable recessed steel bar handles.
