DESCRIPTION: This is a very hard to find and limited LTD LQ (Limited Lacquer) 2005 Gibson Epiphone Les Paul Standard '58 Reissue Plain Top Honey Burst made by the legendary Fujigen-gakki. All Epiphone Japan Les Pauls from 1998-2006 were sprayed with polyurethane. A small limited run got a full thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. You can tell these models apart by the different "Epiphone" headstock logo (comparison photo down the page), "LQJ" stamped on the neck and body in the pickup cavity and the nitro lacquer. This guitar features many true vintage and premium features not even found in current Gibson USA production line Les Pauls (features mentioned at the top of this page). This guitar also features the Gibson open book headstock (headstocks that are exactly like Les Pauls, without the missing corners like current Epiphones). The Epiphone Japan guitars that were intended for export outside of Japan do not have a Gibson style open book headstock. These Epiphones were only produced from 1998-2006 and are no longer made. They are becoming really rare and the LTD LQ models are even more rare. Don't let this one get away. Upgrades: Gibson USA Burstbucker #1 & #2 handwound pickups (original pickups included) All wiring has been upgraded to quality steel braided shielded wire (original wire included) Vitamin-Q Oil in Paper 0.022uh volume and tone capacitors (original capacitors included) Replaced truss rod cover with vintage style blank cover (original included) CONDITION: This is a used guitar. There are some paint chips, nicks, scratches, buckle "worming" and other play wear. Please check out all the high resolution photos I've posted down the page to see the cosmetic condition yourself. The action is very easy to play with no buzzing with normal attack. The frets are in excellent condition. The neck is straight. There are no structural issues or cracks. The tuners are smooth and work as they should. All the electronics are in full working order with no issues. The pickguard is missing but I have all the mounting hardware and bracket. The original gig bag zipper flaps are broken with some strings tied for grip. The zipper works. The neck is a chunky fat C profile like '50s Les Pauls. The guitar is light for a Les Paul at only 3.89KG (8.58LBS) on an accurate home postal scale. I posted many high resolution photos of this guitar down this page, available for download in full resolution for you to inspect the detailed cosmetic condition for yourself. PLEASE take the time to read the whole listing in detail, inspect every photo carefully and ask any questions first before bidding. Thank you. SHIPPING: Free shipping with insurance and tracking via EMS 3-6 business day service to U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Finland, France, Norway, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Hungary, Slovenia, Spain. I ship to most other countries too, but please contact me first before bidding if your country is not listed in the above paragraph because your country may not qualify for my free shipping offer because of size restrictions or high shipping costs. South America & Africa: $125 shipping for South America and Africa because EMS charges approximately $250-275 to ship there. I cover shipping over $125 to these two continents. Also, EMS doesn't give estimates of shipping times to South America and Africa. Please contact me first before bidding. Italy: Let me put it bluntly, your Customs agency sucks! I will ship to Italy but be warned, packages can take up to 6 weeks from being stuck in your Customs. This doesn't happen often but it has happened twice out of the several times I've shipped to Italy. International Buyers Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or my free shipping offer. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs might be prior to bidding/buying. Do not confuse these charges for additional shipping charges. I do not mark merchandise values below value - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Your country's Customs agency can hold this item for longer than the 3-6 business day EMS promises. This rarely happens in most countries, but it can happen. I ship during Japanese business hours (Monday - Friday minus Japanese holidays) About EMS: I use EMS because it's the safest, fast and best value. I've shipped well over 100 valuable fragile guitars worldwide using EMS with great success. Their service is top notch, safe and very reliable. All items will be fully insured for declared amount. PAYMENT: I accept Paypal. (Please open an account before bidding) Please contact me first before bidding if you have zero feedback. I reserve the right to cancel suspicious bids. I ONLY SHIP TO ADDRESSES PAYPAL APPROVES FOR SELLER PROTECTION. PHOTOS The photos below are of the actual guitar you are buying. Please read the notes under some photos. ABOUT ME: I'm an American citizen from California currently living and working in Japan. I've been playing and working on guitars for over 20+ years. I live and breathe guitars! I've been selling high ticket items and guitars internationally on eBay since April 1999 with zero negative feedback so you can bid with confidence. Please check my feedback. A majority of my feedback is from selling, not buying. Not all the guitars I've sold show up in my eBay history so you can check out some of the guitars I've sold and shipped internationally here. I'm a Powerseller but I give very individual attention to my customers. Great customer service and fast response is my top priority. I care greatly about my customers and the guitars I sell. All the guitars I sell are handpicked by me. I only buy guitars to sell that I would keep for myself. I spend hours for each of my ebay listings and photos to hopefully increase your buying experience. I try to show as much detail of the guitars as possible. I don't want anything to be a surprise when you receive your guitar. Hopefully this will be the guitar you love enough to pass down to your kids. Thank you for looking!
