Up for sell is a 60th anniversary Fender American deluxe Strat olympic pearl white with a tortise shell pickguard. 2006 + you also get a free Peavey backstage practice amp when you use the buy it now option. I bought this guitar new in 2007 and since then I have not had much time to play it. I also bought an american deluxe tele of the exact same year and color and all of my attention has been on that one so the strat needs to go. I guess I just prefer a tele. This guitar is mint with the exception of one thing, there is a small, hidden crack in the finish on the heel of the body right where the neck connects to the body (pic # 8). This was there when i bought the guitar and i guess i missed it when i completedd the purchase but i have had it inspected by a fender tech and i can asure you it is isolated and is soley in the finish and not the wood. aside from the small crack, there is less than usual wear on the frets and not a single scratch, ding, or dent anywhere else. Behind the headstock is a chrome emblem that says 60th anniversary, as well as locking tunners. The electronics are the Fender SCN Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Pickup Set with the S1 switching in place and untampered with. These pickups are dead silent. they are more noiseless than most humbuckers. You have to watch out for people selling these guitars with post factory pickups because alot of guitar techs have a real hard time trying to rewire the S1 switching system. This guitar is completely stock and factory. In fact, it comes with everything you would get if you bought it new from a store today. all origional: strap, strap locks, tremolo bar, alan wrench, manual, unopened polish sample and cloth, fender cable, blank warranty card, and of course the origional hardshell case.
