AUCTION: Up for auction is my beloved 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard DC Double Cut Plus in the hard to find Root Beer finish. I looked for this specific guitar in this specific finish for 2 years before I found one a few months back and finally got to try it! I was so stoked when I got it, I went ahead and had a luthier professionally install some new (better?) pickups, Suhr Aldrich pickups, and a new wiring kit, RS GuitarWorks PRS Modern Kit (coil tap/3 way/volume/tone). This guitar SOUNDS AMAZING! But damn't I just can't get used to the gibson feel. I have always been, and will always be a PRS man, unfortunatley I can't afford to keep this guitar just because I love the sound and look and tone - it just doesn't FEEL right to me. This guitar is in fantastic condition, no body wear, just some fading on the gold hardware. It is nearly mint condition! It includes the guitar, original hard shell case, and original wiring kit, though I sold the original pickups awhile back - but the SUHR's are much better!
