Gibson USA Les Paul Studio Platinum - Limited Edition Serial Number: 0094345 (Made in USA) This auction is for my Gibson Les Paul Platinum, which is a serious piece of equipment for any musician. The pick-ups are clear and powerful and the sustain is unbelievable. The neck is fast and easy to access. A solid reliable guitar. Condition: 8.5 out of 10 This guitar is in perfect working order, no fret buzz, no issues; A pleasure to play. This guitar does have a few cosmetic issues which are minor but worth pointing out so that you know exactly what they are (I have tried to photograph these too) The guitar has very light marks on the middle back, small marks around the top of the headstock and the biggest marks on the back of the neck area.(photo) All these marks are only in the top layer of Platinum paint and smooth to the touch. They are not gauges or dings. The clear nitro-cellular layer beneath is perfectly intact. The top edge has slight wear, again only on the platinum paint finish, the clear paint beneath is completely smooth. There is also very light tarnish on the part of the bridge where you hand lightly rests. These issues are very minor. This guitar is around 9 years old and wears a few character marks. The photos make the marks look much worse then they are! Please note that the combination lock is broken on the case and it has it's fair share of dings and knocks.It is in used condition but it all works as it should. It is a hard-case and does it's job well. Photos below are of described cosmetic issues. They look worse than they are due to the extreme close-up!Please see a photo of the full guitar to put these into perspective.
