Ibanez AEL20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar Review
Here is my review of the Ibanez AEL20E Acoustic-Electric Guitar. This Guitar is great for the Musician who needs to have the built-in mic on an Acoustic, and with its built-in tuner it is great for a beginner who needs to tune up with ease.

ive had the same model but blue for almost ten years now and love it! dont have any dings as bad as that tho, ouch!
I have a quick question about the tuner. I have basically the same guitar in blue. the tuner on it has stopped working. is there battery for this or how do i go about fixing it. i’m more of a hobbiest player so im to up the technical side of guitars. any help with this would be appreciated.
ive got the same guitar same color and its the best i recomend it to anyone.
is the neck on that guitar thin or thick?
i have this exact guitar but mine is blue i recomend it to anyone
Depends, what kind of guitar do you have?
Im getting a new guitar, and had my heart set on this one. I read some of these reviews, on here & im scared that the bridge will eventually come off of the guitar like “nkluenen” said. Is it worth the money. I have had a classical acoustic guitar since I was 9, and the bridge has not come off, nor has the nut. I have banged it against walls by accident and dropped it a couple of times. Is this guitar going to break down on me after a few years? Please help!!
it depends on a lot more than needing or wanting a new guitar. Think about style, technique etc. and mostly what is going to make you happy while you contunie to learn until you upgrade next. It gets more expensive every time. I just bought the newer, better version of this: the Ibz AEL40SE and love it in every way. But, that is for me… I suggest discussing the question with as many players and especially pros as you can and look, and PLAY, around with as many as possible. Do NOT rush into it!
I’ve been playing for a year now and the guitar i have now costed about $100, so i really want a new, better guitar. Do you recommend this guitar?
@shaunkemez199 A little under 5 bills with a real nice case and warrenty.
how much was that guitar
Thanks for clearing that up, i always swap the two.
I’ts not about looks. It’s about tone, feel and quality. I’ve only played on Laguna, it wasa budget Strat copy. It was really terible, but I don’t know what kinda products they make so I can’t say…
I dont know if to buy this gutiar or a laguna LG300CE electroacoustic both look awesome any help?XD
nice review though

It’s up to you. The US dollar value is so low these days I’m not sure what the exchange rate is.
I’m gonna buy a mystic red AEL20E TCS is that a good buy or not? It costs about 325euro’s.
I’ve owned 2 of these guitars..the first I bought in 2003. By the fall of 2006, the guitar was unplayable because the bridge began pulling from the body..thinking I bought a lemon, I bought another AEL20E in 2006 Sure enough, this guitar is doing the EXACT same thing.
If you want a “pretty” guitar and you don’t care about the quality of the wood, this is your guitar. I’ve finally learned my lesson and am going to say away from anything with a cheap laminate body.
With DR Coated the tone stays very simular from Start to finish. I had on DR coated for about 3 months, the DR Zebras are simular too. I tihnk because of the smaller body with this guitar it doesn’t really make much difference when tunned down. Doesn’t have that heavier tone.
I have this guitar, but with the blue/black burst, It’s a good guitar, but it doesn’t really produce the tone i’d like. It sounded better when i switched the strings, but your saying your’s never loses tone? Every time i switch through half step and standard the tuning is horrible to deal with.
I just bought a Takamine EG523sc and the difference is outstanding.
what’s that song on 5:20 ?
Read much? Lol. Just below we were discussing the action and setup. It has a medium width neck, feels like a 60s Telecaster neck almost. The action is relitavley low, but I did a setup on mine myself, and I ended up with lower action. It does not fret out or buzz at all with really low action. It has a pretty flat radius so low action is easy.
is it low action?
and is it big and thick??
i’m a girl and i wanna play it for worship too. is it worth the money?
Alright, I’ll have to take a look, thanks for the reply.
