Up for auction is a very nice Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar, including hard plastic SKB carrying case. This guitar was pawned and has been tested to be in very good playing condtion with the electronics testing well. Cosmetically the guitar shows quite a bit of wear, particularly on the edges of the body, the back of the neck and edges of the headstock. We found nothing that we wound consider physical damage. You will find the worst of this wear detailed in the photographs provided. Please note that the original machine heads have been replaced with Grover tuners, as evidenced by the screw holes in the back of the headstock (see photograph). This job was not, by our judgment, done particuarly well. The neck is ramrod straight to the naked eye and the action appears low (again see photograph). Our research indicates this guitar was made in 1993. Serial Number: 91023441.
